Passionate About Pink was founded by Rev. Dr. Edwina D. Perrin on October 27, 2018, in loving memory of her mother, the late Hildreth S. Perrin.
Hildreth Perrin devoted more than 25 years of service to the American Cancer Society and the Best Chance Network, where she helped countless women access free mammograms and pap smears and supported men who had been diagnosed with breast cancer. Her compassion, faith, and commitment to helping others inspired the birth of Passionate About Pink—an outreach dedicated to honoring survivors, remembering loved ones, and promoting early detection.
Each October, we host the Passionate About Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon, a celebration of life, hope, and resilience. This annual event offers a platform for survivors to share their powerful stories and educate others about the importance of early detection and regular screening. It’s more than a luncheon—it’s a lunch-and-learn experience rooted in love, faith, and community.
In June 2025, Passionate About Pink became an official non-profit organization, expanding its mission to serve even more families affected by breast cancer. We are growing and grateful for the strong leadership and support of our dedicated board members.
